Welcome to Perchance AI ("we," "our," or "the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you generate AI art, edit images, browse prompts, and chat with the AI art assistant. We are committed to protecting your privacy. The App does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or any personal identity information to use it.
By using Perchance AI, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Perchance AI is designed to collect as little information as possible. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials. The information involved while using the App falls into these categories:
When you tap Generate Art, the text prompt you wrote is transmitted to our cloud AI image provider (Cloudflare Workers AI) to render an image. The prompt and the generated image are processed only to deliver the result back to your device. We do not attach your identity to these requests, and we do not build advertising or personal profiles from your prompts.
Generated images are returned to your device and are not retained on our servers as part of a personal account.
The Prompts section lets you browse, search, add, copy, and delete prompt ideas across categories such as Action, Adventure, and Horror & Dark Fantasy. Any prompts you save or customize are stored only on your device. This data is never uploaded to our servers and is removed when you delete it or uninstall the App.
The Edit tools — Adjust (brightness, contrast, saturation), Resize, and Crop — run entirely on your device. Images are processed locally and are not transmitted anywhere during editing. When you tap Save to Photos, the edited image is saved to your device's photo library, which requires your permission.
Perchance AI requests access to your photo library for two purposes only:
The App only accesses the specific photos you select. It does not scan, read, or upload your photo library. You can manage or revoke this permission at any time in your device Settings.
The Chat feature provides an AI Art Assistant powered by Llama 3 via Cloudflare Workers AI. The messages you send are transmitted to the AI provider to generate helpful prompt ideas, style tips, and creative inspiration. Conversations are not linked to your identity and are not used to build personal profiles. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into the chat.
The history feature stores a record of your recent creations on your device only so you can revisit them. This history is not synced to any server and is permanently removed if you clear it or uninstall the App.
Perchance AI is free to use and is supported by advertising through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device-level information such as advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads. This may include approximate, non-precise data used for ad personalization and frequency capping.
You can learn more and manage your choices in Google's policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. On iOS, you can also limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings.
We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate certain features. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your data, including the right to access, correct, or delete information, and to object to certain processing. Because Perchance AI does not maintain personal accounts, most of your data already lives only on your device and can be removed by deleting it in-App or uninstalling.
For users in the European Economic Area, the App presents a consent prompt (via Google's UMP consent framework) before showing personalized advertising, in line with GDPR. You may change your consent choice at any time.
Perchance AI is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us so we can address it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information transmitted through the App, including encryption in transit. Because our AI and advertising providers operate globally, data may be processed on servers located outside your country. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
